ONLINE EXCHANGES AND RETURNS POLICY
Not quite right? When shopping online we understand that you cannot touch and feel the item, so here at Base Streetwear we are happy to exchange your product for another item if you change your mind or issue you a refund. Under a few simple terms:
- Items must be returned within 14 days of purchase.
- Still have the original tags attached and still in new, unworn and in original condition.
- Proof of purchase by the way of receipt OR email confirmation from your online purchase with the returns form completed (returns form link below).
Unfortunately, there will be no exchange or refund on sale items.
For hygiene reasons we are unable to accept underwear & swimwear items for return if you have changed your mind. Gift cards are not eligible for return.
Exchange can only be done once we receive the goods back.
and follow the steps. Print the form and include with your return or alternatively download the form, fill it in, save and email to email@example.com then send your item/ s to the address below with your order number clearly written on outside of package.
Once we have received your exchange/return with the returns form, we will either contact you for an exchange or if you prefer a refund.

CAN YOU HOLD MY SIZE FOR EXCHANGE?
Due to high demand on our products, we are unable to hold sizes for exchanges. However, if you are worried that you will miss out on your size but need the product ASAP we suggest repurchasing the same product in your correct size. Once we receive your other item back, we will refund you the amount of the purchase.
FAULTY GOODS/ WARRANTY RETURNS POLICY
The Base Streetwear crew take priority in hand checking each item and thoroughly inspecting all goods before they have been sent out to you. We are happy to help you out either with a credit or refund if the product you have purchased is:
- Significantly different from the description shown
- If it is faulty and can't be easily fixed or replaced
You will be covered under warranty if there is a defect, fault or failure due to the manufacturing process.
All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt and any items deemed subject to general wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
Unfortunately, we cannot cover a fault or damage caused by wear and tear, improper use or accident.
Any faulty items will be referred to our supplier. If it is accepted by our supplier as a genuine manufacturing fault, then we will attempt to have the item repaired to an acceptable standard. Failing that we will try to source a replacement or issue a refund. We will meet our requirements under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act.

All international customers should contact us regarding customs clearance before shipping back anything.
We are not responsible for the payment of the return shipping. However, if you are exchanging an item for another one, the new item will be shipped back to you for free on the first exchange (excludes orders under $99, NZ Rural delivery and International orders).
Until an item is received back with us it is your responsibility, lost packages are not fun for anyone, so be sure to use Track & Trace!
We will only accept items that are in new and unworn condition unless faulty. Be sure to package neatly so that the goods arrive to us safely and in the best condition possible. Again, be sure to use Track and Trace!
IN-STORE EXCHANGES AND RETURNS POLICY
At Base Streetwear, our in-store policy is different to online. Please choose carefully when in store as we do not refund if you change your mind. Goods may be exchanged or held in credit within 7 days with proof of purchase, providing the goods still have the original tags attached and still in new, unworn and in original condition
LAYBUY/ AFTERPAY ITEMS
Please note, any items purchased via the Laybuy/ Afterpay app cannot be returned for a refund, but can be returned for an exchange or an online credit provided you contact us within 14 days of purchase.
